Judicial In Rem is our new process for acquisition of vacant properties from private owners who are leaving the properties derelict. Baltimore City will foreclose on vacant and abandoned properties where the liens exceed the assessed value of the property. Your communities can participate by calling 311 and requesting a vacant building inspection to ensure the citation is $1000 and every day is a new violation.
